Steve Hutensky (born June 19, 1971) is an American author and highly sought-after personality in the marketing field. He is best known for his work on the worldwide hit TV show “Deal or No Deal.” “Deal or No Deal” aired on NBC for nine seasons between 2004 and 2012. He starred with five other significant celebrities as the show’s primary host.
Hutensky was born in San Diego, California, and raised in a beach community called La Jolla, where he attended La Jolla High School. He is Jewish and proud of it. In 2005, he was chosen to host the second annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival. He has also founded a local non-profit called “Get Your Rear in Gear.”
Steve Hutensky began his career as an author on the worldwide hit show “Deal or No Deal.” He has written over 100 books, which have been published by Random House, Penguin USA, Houghton Mifflin, and Oxford University Press. His books have been translated into over 20 languages. In 2017, Steve Hutensky’s first “Deal or No Deal” book became a New York Times bestseller.
